Volunteer
at Finca Corazón
We’ve been cultivating this land since 2021 as a place for people to reconnect with nature and support regenerative, holistic living. Volunteers are welcome to join us in agroecology, land stewardship, and simple, intentional living.
Located in a quiet rural community with valleys, wildlife, and waterfalls close by—and just a short drive from Pérez Zeledón and Dominical—our finca offers an ideal space to learn, ground, and contribute.
We are always looking for willing and able folks interested in learning more or contributing to our ever growing project.

With three homes already built and hundreds of fruit and hardwood trees planted, we are continuing to grow and evolve—and we welcome volunteers who want to be part of this creation.
We especially invite people with experience in:
-
Natural building (wood, bamboo, earthen materials)
-
Basic electricity and water systems
-
Landscaping and ecological design
Current Building Projects
-
Newest home, being built with natural materials (cob - wattle & daub)
-
Updated communal bathroom
-
Decks and roofs for ceremony areas
-
Shared volunteer space
Land Stewardship Projects
Regeneration is at the heart of our work. Volunteers also help with:
-
Planting trees and medicinal plants
-
Establishing food forests
-
Growing tropical crops (cassava, bananas, etc.)
How You Can Contribute
Beyond
the Finca
Life at Finca Corazón extends beyond daily projects and shared meals. In your free time, you’re invited to rest, explore, and enjoy the natural and cultural richness of our region.
- Our land offers direct access to a private river and nearby waterfalls, perfect for swimming, relaxing, and reconnecting with nature. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, birdwatching, and quiet exploration.
- We value creativity and self-expression. Volunteers often enjoy sharing music, drawing, painting, journaling, or simply resting in nature during free hours.
- From time to time, we host drum circles, temazcal ceremonies, and cultural gatherings rooted in ancestral traditions. Volunteers are welcome to participate whenever these experiences are offered.
- We regularly visit local markets and nearby towns for groceries and supplies. These trips are a great way to experience daily life in Costa Rica and connect with the wider community.
- We are located between Diamanté Falls (Costa Rica's tallest waterfall) and Chirripo Mountain (the tallest summit in Costa Rica). Both great spots for hiking and nature adventures
